Haoming Liu

PhD student

Haoming is a PhD student in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN).

 

His research focuses on understanding and predicting treatment response in attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) using large-scale clinical and population datasets. His work combines electronic health records from South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust with population cohorts such as the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) study to investigate clinical, cognitive, and neural predictors of treatment outcomes.

 

His broader research interests include precision psychiatry, neurodevelopment, and the use of machine learning and multimodal data to support personalised treatment strategies for children and young people.
