WORKSTREAMS

Education, Outreach & Training

A core aim of the CAMHS Digital Lab is to share our knowledge on how we’ve developed novel data science methods and digital tools, and how they may be applied and supported in front line health care settings.

We produce guidance via traditional academic routes in peer-reviewed journals and professional conferences. But to support and sustain change, we focus on working collaboratively with academic and NHS partners to implement and embed tools we have developed to ensure service needs are met. We run explainer workshops, consult with service users and practitioners on our research, and create a variety of materials to communicate about our work to our partners and the public alike.

myHealthE - CAMHS Virtual Waiting Room

The CAMHS virtual waiting room is a space on the myHealthE platform where young people and their caregivers can access information and resources while they wait for their CAMHS assessment. These resources are carefully selected by local clinicians and service managers in a dedicated content management group. This allows young people on the waitlist to access curated information and guidance whilst waiting for more intensive support.
